The QZ Calculator has been revised to include the new NSRT and casualty averages (Fatal and Injury Rates), that are used to determine whether a quiet zone meets the risk levels necessary to establish a quiet zone. Quiet zones calculated in the QZ Calc prior to January 8, 2021 MUST be re-created before being used to establish a Quiet Zone. NOEs mailed on or after the date of the revision of the NSRT (January 8, 2021) must include a calculator report (when required by the rule) run after January 8, 2021.
